CLEAN ENERGY MARKETS AND CAPABILITIES

According to American Clean Power, over $150 billion in clean energy investments have been announced since August 2022. This includes nearly 50 projects including 26 solar manufacturing facilities, 10 utility scale battery storage facilities, and 8 wind power facilities. Some of the growing sectors in the clean energy include: • Solar, Wind, Hydro, Geothermal Energy • Natural Gas, RNG, & LNG with a focus on reduced environmental impact • Hydrogen technologies • Carbon Capture, Storage and Use Technologies • Smart Grid Technologies • Nuclear

Our organization is aware of the emerging Clean Energy Manufacturing Economy.

1

There are opportunities in the energy supply chain that we have not yet been able to capitalize on.

2

We are interested in receiving no or low-cost assistance in developing a go to market strategy for energy supply chain opportunities.

3

We are already engaged and want to expand our market share in the energy supply chain.

4

Currently we service multiple industries with our products and services.

5

CLEAN ENERGY PRODUCTS

Clean energy products include goods that store energy, reduce waste, increase efficiency or decrease emissions. Supply chain participants include manufacturing companies that make components, packaging and adjacent products. Some of the clean energy product categories include: • Green Building Technologies • Plastic Circular Economy • Grid Components • Low-Carbon Intensity Products and Feedstocks • Battery storage and related infrastructure • Electric Vehicle and Charging Infrastructure Manufacturing • Energy Efficiency

Our company recognizes the importance of new products, technologies, and innovation.

1

We have a dedicated team or staff member who manages our new product/technology development.

2

We currently have product(s) that we sell to the end user in the clean energy sector (such as electric vehicles or batteries, low carbon intensity products, or green building products).

3

We currently supply components to the infrastructure development in the clean energy sector (such as hydrogen fuel cells, transport of RNG/LNG, or smart grid technologies).

4

We are interested in learning more about energy supply chain opportunities for our companies products and technologies.

5

GREENER FACTORY AWARENESS

A green factory is equipped with energy efficient design and manufacturing processes that reduce waste in the form of greenhouse gas emission, environmental pollution and energy consumption. A greener factory is better for the community and the world but it can also benefit the company financially. The first step is to be aware of current green manufacturing processes and ways they can lower costs and provide revenue opportunities.

We would like to learn more about greener factory strategies (e.g., solar, wind, hydro, efficiency and/or geothermal) for our company.

1

Our customers (current and/or potential) are interested in our energy use and resource efficiency (e.g., decarbonization, carbon reduction, GHG emissions, or general resource reductions).

2

We would like to learn about workforce development programs related to greener factories or energy efficiency (e.g., educational programs, training, on-the-job training, etc.).

3

Our current and/or potential employees value proactive environmental programs, community engagement, and related initiatives.

4

We are interested in learning about energy, water and waste reductions that can add value to our organization.

5

GREENER FACTORY OPPORTUNITIES

Once a company is aware of small and large actions that could reduce energy consumption and emissions waste, the next step is deciding how to act on it. Are there programs to help pay for energy efficiency projects or are new clients looking for a supplier with a sound sustainability process? Finding opportunities and deciding the best plan to benefit from them is the next step.

We are interested in a no-cost assessment by an energy expert to suggest improvements to our facility or manufacturing processes that would reduce energy costs and increase efficiencies.

1

We have opportunities to utilize clean energy in our operations that we have not yet been able to implement.

2

We would like to learn about grant programs that could be used to pay up to half of the cost to install a new HVAC system, windows and lighting, factory expansion, renovation, or other project (large or small) with an energy efficiency component.

3

We are planning capacity expansion, process improvements, and/or equipment upgrades in the next five years.

4

We have participated in one or more tax incentives, federal, state, and local grant programs, or community resources as they relate to clean energy strategies.
